Our 200Ah system boasts two batteries and a 3000w Renogy inverter. We employ Battle Born Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries, Kisae DC/DC/PV charger, along with an internal LED lighting strip.
The boxes are constructed by hand from black laminated baltic birch.
With two large batteries, this fixture is the perfect for days of off-grid living. It can run a DC fridge/freezer and ventilation fan for days in the 90 degree heat. Ice cold drinks and ice cream are a great way to end any adventure especially a backpacking trip. Paired with 200 watts of solar, you can spend weeks off-grid depending upon which appliances you have.
Our weekender box comes stock with a DC/DC/PV solar charge controller so whether you add solar in now or later, the option is yours. Off-grid camping in the winter would demand more power so our box can be built to have up to four batteries. As seasoned skiers– we know our products.
