DIY Electrical Workshop
Learn the basics of electrical systems. How to stay safe, what parts to use, and what you need to know to build appliance circuits in 12V and 120V and troubleshoot when things do not work. Learning how to build components into a full house system will be offered in a future workshop
Vanlife Campout
We're heading to the hills to have some fun! Join us for bike shuttles early in the day or meet us at the Quarry for a potluck, games and music. Bring your van, truck or tent.
We will have a grill but please bring whatever you like!
Please BE PREPARED to manage your own poop. We will not have a group groover. There is a campsite with pit toilets a short bike ride away, but not right next to us.
Free Diagnostic Day
You are invited to show up for a free diagnostic! You deserve to have a functioning van, so take advantage of free service when you need it!
We will aim to fix anything that we can within about an hour. If your issue looks like a larger job or requires significant replacement parts, we will work up an estmate for free, and can schedule you in at a later date.
Leave your van for the day or drop in and watch us work.
Birthday Campout we’re turning 4!
It’s a toddler graduation party, or a beginning of childhood party, or a moment to pause and give thanks to everyone who has helped us get this far!
So bring a onesie or costume of your choice and be prepared for a forest party!
We will meet at the VLC shop and caravan to a secret location, which is within 40 min of downtown Hood River. We will be sending out the location to everyone who signs up ahead of time. Please send an email to party@thevanlifecollective.com to get on the list!
