Why do we recommend the 4kW heater for the gas version?
The 2kw gas heater now exists (b2L AS3), and we have installed a few of them since they came to market a little over a year ago.
The problem: Cavitation in the combustion chamber, most likely due to the mix of ethanol we see in US gas. If you choose to go this route, we recommend using ethanol free gas.
We have seen instances of cavitation in the B4L as well, but have been able to remedy the issue by changing the angle of the fuel pump.
